Amazing jollof rice, delicious mostly-vegetarian options. Huge portions.
I just ordered from here yesterday and today I had to order again me and my husband LOVED IT. When I say the best food I had in a long time. Thank you for your services and good amazing food. It really touched our soul. My new favorite place to eat.
Super friendly staff, and incredible food. Ordered egwusi stew with goat and fufu and even got a free side of fried plantains. I cant believe how good it was. Absolutely try this place!!
Always in search of great African food so I ran to Jolly Jolly after a friend raved about it. I ordered the jollof rice platter with plantain and chicken. The perfect amount of spice, seasoning and kick. Service was lovely and kind. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. Cool drink options as well. If you’re looking for Nigerian food, definitely give this restaurant a visit. It’s right across the street from West Oakland Bart. The food is delicious, you won’t be disappointed.
Their fried eggs and plantain breakfast was f*cking delicious! The flavors were amazing also in part to the fresh sauce they smother it all in! And the Tiger Nut Milk drink was really tasty, refreshing and not too sweet (they said no sugar was added). Definitely coming back
Loved the Jollof rice. Had it for the first time. A little too much chili flakes but all good. Dunno if that’s the standard. Got Shrimp and Kale! The woman working behind the counter, bless her heart as she was multitasking. I’m coming back.
One word: Delicious! Jolly Jolly will undoubtedly leave you feeling jolly after indulging in their delectable dishes. My personal favorites are the Egusi soup with fufu and their chicken wings with Jollof rice. Honestly, everything is amazing! I had the pleasure of trying their soursop juice blend, and let me tell you, it's wonderfully thirst-quenching and bursting with flavor—not to mention the great health benefits. I love coming here for my African food fix and will definitely keep coming back! The service is impeccable, 10/10, and the food consistently delivers, 10/10. Don’t hesitate—come and experience this amazing cuisine for yourself!
